My name is Sarah, I’m a 40 year old Journalism and Digital Media student at Hull School of Art and Design. Unlike the rest of my fellow students, I weigh in at 30 stone.
There are two main reasons for me deciding to write this blog. The first is selfish, I really need to lose weight. This is mainly for health reasons, however also professionally as well. The media industry is very image driven.
The second is that it is scary, and but my hope is that by sharing my experiences, the ups and downs, and useful information and stories, it might help others think ‘I recognise that feeling…i’m not the only one’
loving life but lighter
